18. WHAT DO THE CHILDREN NEED FOR EACH SWIM CLASS?
Children should arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of their class time in proper swim attire. This includes form-fitting swimsuits for the boys: referred to as jammers. It is the strict policy of the program, without exception. All students must wear a swim cap. All students must have swim goggles and fins for each class.
19. WHAT DO THE CHILDREN NEED TO BRING WITH THEM?
Please bring your children to the pool ready to swim in their bathing suits. Have caps, goggles, fins/flippers and towels readily available on the pool deck. LABEL ALL FLIPPERS. Please make every effort to have the children be ready to swim WITH THEIR CAPS ON and GOGGLES ADJUSTED when it is time for their class. Considerable delays are encountered when the children are not ready at the start of their class time.
20. WHAT KIND OF FLIPPERS SHOULD I BUY?
The flippers we prefer are all-rubber with the heel attached (See Image Below). Long scuba type flippers, plastic flippers, or flippers with heel straps create difficulty for the children during the lessons.
(Zoomers are the only all-rubber fins that we do not prefer due to the fin being so short).
21. WHERE CAN I BUY THE PREFERRED FLIPPERS, SWIM SUITS, AND GOGGLES?
We are currently looking for a vendor to supply these in one place.

It is our understanding that they are similarly formatted, however, the Beach Sports program has easier time requirements and allows children to attend starting at age 8 (please verify with the program).
